The Community Prayer Shawl Group meets every Thursday evening at Knox United Church for fellowship and to create cozy lap blankets, hats, toques, and mittens to donate throughout the community.
These products are only possible through the generous donations of wool, patterns, and needles given by the community.
The mittens, scarves and hats were donated to The Terrace Food Bank and the lap blankets were presented to Dr. Fourie in the Oncology Unit at Mills Memorial Hospital. These blankets will be donated to patients receiving chemotherapy.
The Oncology Unit was thrilled with the donation.
