Terrace RCMP
Downtown Terrace
- false cellular 911 call

- suicidal 44 yr old man. He was intoxicated and had a knife, but was compliant with police direction. He was arrested.

- two intoxicated women causing a disturbance on Lakelse Ave. Police observed them getting into a taxi and leave the area.

- a woman was assaulted in the washroom of the Spirit Night Club. BC Ambulance transported the woman to Mills Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. She was intoxicated. Under investigation.

- two overdue travelers, en route from Terrace to New Hazelton

- report of a woman at the Bear Country Inn complaining of no place to stay. Checks were done of area.

- man passed out at a table at the Tim Hortonís on Lakelse Ave was arrested for public intoxication

- Loss Prevention Officer of Save On Foods arrested a 51 yr old man for shoplifting. The man was recently released from jail on January 29 after serving a sentence related to thefts from grocery stores and assaulting store employees. He is on probation for same. The man was remanded for court on Feb. 14.

- Loss Prevention Officer of Save On Foods arrested an 18 yr old man for shoplifting. Police spoke with the man and he is banned from the store.

- a man and two women partying in a business 5th wheel on Greig Ave. The 5th wheel was not damaged. The man was arrested for public intoxication.

- police observed a parked blue 2003 Jeep Liberty missing both its front and rear plate. Under investigation.

- a delusional woman was assisted in attending to Mills Memorial Hospital for assessment.

- false business alarm on Lakelse Ave

- man passed out by the dumpster at Tim Hortonís on Lakelse Ave. He was arrested for public intoxication.

- man was removed from the lobby of the Best Western Inn, but was now loitering outside. He was arrested for public intoxication.

- false business alarm on Lazelle Ave

- leather bifold wallet was lost at the Spirit Night Club containing ID and various cards.

Elsewhere Terrace
- a trailer became unhitched from a truck on Hwy 16 in front of Terrace Toyota. It was towed. No damage.

- a black 2007 Chev Aveo drove into the back of a parked grey 2001 Toyota Tacoma in the Caledonia School parking lot. The Aveo suffered minor damage to its front bumper. The driver was driving contrary to restrictions

- fight in the George Little Park between a 22 yr old woman and a 17 yr old girl. BC Ambulance attended for treatment of minor injuries. Fight was consensual.

- complaint of marihuana smell coming from a neighborísís apartment on Little Ave. Police did checks of area.

- man arrested for public intoxication at the Terrace Arena

- man sleeping on the bus bench at Davis Ave and Sparks St. Checks were done of area.

- complaint of loud music from a neighborísís apartment. A person was warned to keep the music down.

- a 16 yr old girl on Little Ave deliberately annoying a neighbor by making noise. She was warned.

- loud party on Scott Ave. An intoxicated man leaving the party kicked a white 2002 Chev Cavalier and dented the rear driverís side door. The party was shut down.

- noisy party on Tetrault St that turned into a fight. The party was shut down. No injuries. Fight was consensual.

- noise complaint on Hanson St. A woman was
warned to keep the noise level down.

- report of unknown men entering a residence on Straume Ave and assaulting a woman. Police spoke with a significant number of people at the residence and everyone had a different version of events. No injuries. No damage to residence. Complainant was not cooperative with police. Unfounded.

- BC Ambulance requested assistance with a suicidal 50 yr old man. BC Ambulance transported the man to Mills Memorial Hospital.

- motor vehicle accident on Keith Ave.

- false 911 call from Mills Memorial Hospital.

- woman walking in the middle of Sande Overpass was arrested for public intoxication.

- a man driving a red Ford Taurus entered the Copperside 3 with a bag of marihuana in his hand. Under investigation.

- a group of teens lying in the snow on Haugland Ave / Kalum St. When a woman approached them to check their well being, another group of teens jumped out of the bush and scared the woman. Checks were done of the area.

- police assisted Ministry of Children and Families with a well being check.

- group of people causing problems in the Library Park. No one was cooperative with police. No one was injured. Everybody was told to leave.

- a woman was concerned for her safety on Scott Ave. She would not cooperate with police. Police offered to transport the woman to a safer place for the night. She continued to be non cooperative.

- a woman passed out on Park Ave was arrested for public intoxication.

- harrassment by email. Police gave advice on the matter.

- a woman was arrested for public intoxication in the parking lot of the Terrace Aquatic Center.

- a 16 yr old girl reported missing from Dejong Cr. Chronic runaway. She has been reported missing 78 times in the past four years.

- two false cellular 911 calls, separate locations

- false 911 call from payphone at Walmart

- police assisted with a familial dispute

- break and enter to a residence on Walsh Ave on Feb. 12 between 2:30 PM and 5 PM. A scanner, DVDís, and medication were stolen.

Thornhill
- counterfeit $50 bill passed at a local business

- a man was acting irrational and attempting to change seats in a taxi while it was moving. Police spoke with the man.

- a 50 inch Samsung television was stolen from a residence on Larch Ave during a break and enter that occurred sometime between Feb. 8 and Feb. 10.

- dispute over a tow bill. Parties were spoken with. Not a police matter.

- a man on conditions to not be in contact with a person was arrested for breaching this condition. There were also two outstanding warrants on this person. Charges are being forwarded to Crown Counsel.

- a bailiff requested police assistance in a repo.

- false business alarm on Substation Rd

- loud party on Muller Ave was shut down and the home owner warned.

- police assisted Ministry of Children and Families with a well being check

- a 16 yr old girl was arrested for public intoxication. She was attempting to get into a residence and a vehicle on Old Lakelse Lake Dr.

- false business alarm on Century St

- a woman was arrested on outstanding warrants during a vehicle check on Mullar Ave

- report of a person drinking at a party on Scott Ave and possibly in breach of conditions.

Rural
- an 8 yr old boy and his friend dialed a false 911 from Gold Creek Rd. The parents are dealing with the matter.

- a white 2005 Dodge SX2 lost control and hit the ditch on Merkley Rd, causing the vehicle to flip onto its roof. The 20 yr old woman was treated at scene by BC Ambulance for minor injuries. The vehicle was towed and the woman was given a ride by police to a residence.

- a bike was stolen outside of the Back Eddy Pub on the night of Feb. 11. It is a Dahon folding bike orange in color with orange fenders.

- a white 2008 Ford Escape struck a moose on Hwy 37 near Airport Rd. Conservation officers attended and shot the moose. The vehicle was towed. No injuries.

- erratic driver in a Dodge pickup on Hwy 16 / Eby St. Checks were done of area.

Gitaus
- false 911 call

- police investigated numerous reports of a man being inside of a residence when he is on conditions to not be there. Unsubstantiated.

- report of an erratic driver almost hitting another driver. No further details were provided.

- person sleeping in a snowbank on Hwy 16 / Gitaus Rd. He was arrested for public intoxication.
