Terrace RCMP
Downtown Terrace:
- A vehicle parked illegally, which had no insurance and was subsequently towed
- A wallet was found and turned over to police, only to be given back to its owner
-A business in downtown Terrace reported excessive panhadling outside their business after regular hours, more police presence requested
- Police arrested an intoxicated, aggressive, panhandler
- False business alarm
-A vehicle hit the side of a building minor damage occurred to both the vehicle and the building
Elsewhere in Terrace:
-Police were called to assist Terrace Fire department with a structure fire. Fire was successfully extinguished with limited damage
-Graffiti was occurring at a business at a business, it was later determined that the building was being washed, not damaged
-Police were made aware that some children were playing alone in a vehicle with the keys in the ignition
- A report of tires being slashed at a residence
-Police assisted with finding two Psych Unit patients from Mills Memorial
-A report of youth on top of a business throwing rocks off of the roof, patrols were made, but none of the youths were located
-Police assisted with a report of a suicidal female
- A report of an unfounded break and enter
- A youth decided to ignore her curfew and was also in breach of a court order
Thornhill:
-A group of youth gathered in Thornhill to participate in a fight, file under investigation
-Police assisted in a child and family services issue
- A 911 hang-up resulted in a domestic disturbance investigation, charges have been forwarded to Crown Council
-Report of a stolen vehicle, upon investigation the vehicle was not stolen, but towed earlier in the day because of a parking violation
Rural:
-Police assisted in a civil property matter
