Terrace RCMP
Downtown Terrace:
- An intoxicated youth was arrested and subsequently released once sober, no guardian could be reached

- Report of a domestic dispute

-Report of an erratic driver at the Skeena Mall

-Police were advised that someone had parked a vehicle in front of a fire hydrant on Lazelle Ave

Elsewhere in Terrace:
- A man was fighting in a residence and was subsequently arrested, he was held for court on other matters

- A report of an attempted break and enter, still under investigation

- A report of a stolen license plate decal

- An undesirable crowed was dispersed after they were preventing customers from entering a business

-Report of drug activity at a residence

-A report of a work place altercation between staff and a client, police were involved because of safety concerns

-Police were requested to assistance in locating an individual for Terrace Crown Council

-Report of damage to a garage door, police investigated but were unable to determine any suspects

-Police were alerted of an argument between a couple over Facebook comments, the matter was investigated, the coupld was encouraged to seek counseling

-Police are investigating the theft of a purse

-Police assisted with a person who was suicidal by providing them with a ride to the hospital

-Police attended Walmart to help find the guardians of a lost child

-A fist fight occurred behind the arena, the matter is still under investigation

-Police were called to a noisy party complaint

Thornhill:
-A report of individuals lighting paper on fire in a bus shelter

- Reports of Facebook threats resulting from any altercation earlier in the week

Rural:
-A vehicle was towed as a result of the driver being 14 with no licence and the registered owner were unable to be reached

Kitsukalum, Gitaus, Kitselas:
-Report of a lost licence plate decal

-Report of a family dispute over someone being slapped with a fish

I must say, that I did chuckle about the fish slapping incident. Manion's comment reminded me of when my Mom would bake 15-20 loaves of bread every other Friday, and as we kids were walking by her in the kitchen, she would often jokingly bread dough slap us while we walked by. HA! Good times.

I'm sorry for laughing because I know the slappee must have felt very insulted, and the slapper very angry.... Was it an oolichan?
