According to drivebc, the highway is now open to single lane alternating traffic with up to 30 minutes delay. Proof of this is I saw two westbound Greyhound buses this evening.
Thank you, Eric...

Thx Eric for your kind and prompt response to my query. (This site rocks!)

Now I wonder if the Band kids will make it out on the big bus to Whistler on Tuesday early a.m.

Eeks.

Light traffic is generally considered to be passenger vehicles under 5 tons, or a combination of vehicle & trailer (ie. truck pulling a travel trailer) under 5 ton. Anything over that is heavy traffic. Buses would be heavy traffic. Your average school bus weighs 30,000 lbs...a highway coach like Greyhound weighs even more.
Light traffic query...

Travel plans:

Uh... does anyone know what rates as "light traffic"?

Can a bus get thru? Personal trucks with long camping trailers???
