As of today there are already 26 teams signed up to participate in Terrace Bike to Work Week, which kicks off this Monday, May 28th. Participation has exceeded the original expectations and far exceeded registrations in past years.
Bike to Work Week organizers will be present 10am‐1pm this Saturday, May 26th at the Skeena Valley Farmer’s Market offering free bike tune‐ups and bike powered blended smoothies.
On Friday, June 1st there will be a wrap‐up BBQ happening in conjunction with the RCMP Bike Rodeo in the Skeena Mall parking lot. All those participating in Bike to Work Week are invited
to come down for the BBQ, prizes and more. The BBQ will take place between 4‐7pm.
Terrace is one of many communities ramping up for Bike to Work Week. Residents from across BC, from Prince George to Campbell River are seeing a high level of interest this year.
Dr. Richard Backus, president of Bike to Work BC says “We have over 22 communities participating Backus.
