We are pleased to invite you to a very special presentation by architect Douglas Cardinal who will be visiting Terrace on June 19th, 2012 at the invitation of Skeena Diversity Society.
Douglas Cardinal, one of Canada’s renowned architects and an Officer of the Order of Canada, has won numerous awards from the Honour Award from the Alberta Association of Architects in 1969 to the Gold Medal of the Union of Architects of Russia in Moscow in 2009 and the International Property Awards, Essex, United Kingdom in 2010.
His philosophy is based on sustainability, ecologically designed community planning.
His architecture springs from his observations of nature and his understanding that everything works seamlessly together.
Mr. Cardinal will be giving a public presentation on his work as an architect and share his thoughts on future architectural potential in Terrace.
The presentation will take place on Tue, June 19th at 7 pm at Northwest Community College, Terrace Campus’ Waap Galts’ap Longhouse.
