Dave Reniero, of Terrace, got the Fathers day surprise of a life time. He had bought a ticket for the Kinsmen River Boat Raffle but the ticket he bought didnít win.

When he picked up the ringing phone and the caller identified himself as a Kinsmen standing outside at the Fathers Day Show and Shine at Canadian Tire, and that he had drawn his ticket, Dave was sure it was his sister-in-law pulling a prank. Then he went to check the number on his ticket he had in his wallet. Turns out, it wasnít the same number.

His wife first had to hand him his Happy Fathers Day card, which he hadnít opened yet. Inside was the correct matching number.

When Dave arrived in his truck it matched the colour scheme of the boat and trailer to a tee. He did not have his own boat before and was excited to go hunting and fishing in his own boat rather than always have to go in someone else's.
