UPDATE June 25 - 11:40 a.m.The following information on road closures has been provided by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure:
Kitselas Road - closed at the 4km mark
Old Remo - Robin Road is closed and there are barricades in place at Whitebottom where they are allowing local traffic only.
Dutch Valley - 20 metres of Bohler Road has water ponding but the road remains open.
Usk - the cable car operation is closed due to high water.
There are no concerns reported on Highway 16 East or West.
June 25 - 11:00 a.m.Ferry Island trails and the road to the south end of the island are closed due to flooding. Residents are being asked to stay off the flooded trails as they are sand-based and vulnerable to wash out areas and sink holes. The campsite remains open.
Fisherman's Memorial Park is flooded and usage is not recommended. The water level on the Skeena River was measured at 11.429 metres at the Usk Station as of 8:00 a.m. this morning. No flooding has been reported within the City of Terrace municipal boundary.
